Animated Characters

If an animated character could win an Oscar for "Best Actor/Actress" who would you vote for?

Mine would be Fred Flinstone. 8)

Best Actor would be quite a challenge but I'd give Best Comedic Performance to Baby Plucky from Tiny Toon Adventures.

Alex,
I've always felt Belle from Beauty and the Beast was overlooked as Best Actress.  Considering she sang, danced, and acted in an Academy Award nominated Best Picture.
Jodie Foster won that year for Silence of the Lambs.  Bitch.

Thanks Sean and Dave,

Have to say the amount of work that goes into the development of animated characters is highly underestimated.

I have never attempted to write a screenplay for an animated film though would be keen to.

I went through a phase when I wanted to make my own animated film. I got myself some free software and even went about drafting up a character. However, like Alex said there is way too much work in it for just one person. And I can do artistic stuff... At all  ;D

Staying on topic I'd have to give Monsters Inc. Something. There are no human characters, so I'm not sure what. It's just too good to not mention.
