When I see spelling like that, which I do occasionally, I lose any interest in reading that person's scripts.

Surely no one writes like that in scripts?!

By the way, guys, I don't ever write or type like that. Just joking around  :o

The interesting thing for me is how confidence in matters like spelling and grammar can hold people back. My wife has quite a few clients whose (almost used who's just to show what I struggle with) life has been materially affected, for the worse or hardship, as they are probably dyslexic, in some form or another (had to look that one up as well! )

She actually considers me to be mildly dyslexic, I just think I am poor at English :-)

Thankfully the auto correct saves me most of the thyme.

I didn't mean you Daniel. I should have explained better. I meant that when I see posts at SS for example when people ask for reads on their scripts, but they can't even spell in their posts, then that does not make me want to read their scripts. And, I'm dyslexic too, btw. Sometimes I just can't spell words that I absolutely should know. The word I struggle with most is John of all things. Sometimes my brain insists it is spelled Jhon, but spellcheck saves me a lot too.  :)

I didn't take it personally, Pia. I would actually be the same if someone asked me to read their work and their grammar and spelling was awful. It shows almost a lack of care. The person may be extremely passionate, but they can ruin it in just a few words.

The thing that gets me every time is when I'm typing, sometimes my right hand types faster than my left, so I end up spelling things incorrectly. Nothing special here, everyone has that happen to them :)

I drop letters myself.  My biggest mistake is typing you for your.  And spelling errors that aren't actually misspellings are often the hardest to catch.

I really do find that with my writing, my BRAIN does work faster than my fingers can tap a keyboard. so I usually leave of letters in the spelling of words.

THANKS GOD FOR AUTOCORRECT !!!!! :)
