FADE IN:

INT. WRITER ARENA HQ - DAY

Alex scratches his head and looks towards Michael who stares into a mirror and combs his beard.

BEAT....

                                          ALEX
                                (frustrated)
Where is everyone? I can't believe we offer
such a great prize and no one has anything
                    to say.

                                          MICHAEL
I think we need to offer them a five dollar mug
                    instead.

                                           ALEX
A five dollar mug... Come on dude...This prize is
                    worth over two hundred smack-a-roos.

                                           MICHAEL
                   What's a Smack-a-roo.

                                           ALEX
It's when us Aussies smack a roo in the head.

FADE OUT:

Damn... that is such a poor line...

Fair point but theres not much to discuss at the moment.

We should probably start some new threads - I'll give it a thought, eg World Cup predictions

Maybe just a slow time of the year. SS is slow too. 6 days worth of threads on  the portal. That's slow.

I'm sure there will be a bunch when it's time to enter the short contest. I already have Final Draft. It is a great prize though! Wishing good luck to all who enter!
