Just to let you know there has been some queries on a different thread so I thought I would add it below.

Here is the thread if anyone wants to take a peak. http://forum.writerarena.com/index.php/topic,22616.30.html

Hey guys, sorry for the late reply though I am on the other side of the big round ball.

The reference "Losing control of your bodily functions" does refer to a bowel movement, whether at the front or the back it can be up to you !!!! It can be either a number ONE or a number TWO. Hee Hee great morning conversation.

You don't have to see the ghost as long as the reader is aware that it does exist in the story.

Hope this clears things up.

Regards Alex

Thank Bill,

We have had quite a few new members since the Inktip challenge was announced so I feel it is due to the persistence of members at getting the news out there.

Well done all.

"losing control over body functions " does necessarily mean losing control over bowel movement or it can also be related to losing control over other body functions like seeing or talking e.t.c ? .

Alex you said that losing function is either poo or pee, but then Michael said that that's not the only way to lose bodily function, and for us to get creative.

So is losing your sight or the ability to hear in the parameters of the contest?

Thanks Jean-Pierre, I think Michael has already answered this on the other thread.
I would like a number one or two, though be creative and let's see what you come up with. There will be leniency in the way you interpret it, so surprise us. Google the term maybe.

I think you need to be creative and write what you think meets the criteria.  There will be more than one judge and they will each bring their own interpretation of the criteria to the table.  They won't be influencing each other's scores.   Scoring will be similar to the last challenge (without the bonus points).

Thanks Darren! I actually already knew those, but it still "fun" to read. :)  I write a lot of horror and as you know, a lot of weird research goes along with that.

Long time ago when I still lived in Sweden, I worked in a hospital. One summer I worked nights. Most people tend to die during the night, so my job was to give these dead people a bath and clean sheets before hauling them down to the cool room in the basement. A lot of these after death things in your link I've seen first hand and up close. Spooky. One thing though, we were never allowed to take bodies down to the cooler by ourselves. Reason? Because even when you know all these things can happen after death, it can still scare the hell out of you if you're alone in the elevator and all of a sudden the person under the sheet moves or makes a sound. :)

Wasn't entirely sure of the time-frame after posting -- definitely wasn't expecting to see them all up so fast.  Checked out a couple, some interesting interpretations --  hopefully get my notes together as I make my way through them.

Best of luck to all those taking part.

Started reading and got through 3 of them yesterday though I can't post my comments as it may give away my decision on which one I select. Sorry.

Enjoyed the first three and one does stand out just a touch so far. Time will tell.  ;D

I read all but one - comented only on three so far. I may go round and give the other my thoughts when the contest if over.

I liked 4 so I'm kind of scared to read that last one. What if I like it and now I'll have to narrow it down to 3... Quite a task to go from 4 to 3. From 5 to 3 - simply impossible! I'll go with eeny meeny miny moe maybe, but I don't know...
